Maintenance, After Hours Repairs and Trouble Shooting Guide for Renters

What to do in the event you have a maintenance request?

If your repair request is during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00pm, please call our office on 03 5429 6655 and email your property manager directly. You can also refer to our Quick Reference Trouble Shooting Guide below. This will go through a list of the most commonly reported maintenance items we receive and you may be able to rectify the issue without the need for a tradesmans call out.

Quick Reference Guide

If your repair is after business hours, over the weekend or on a public holiday, please either leave a message at 03 5429 6655 or 0428 875 589 and email chloe.brinkhuis@raywhite.com or romsey.vic@raywhite.com directly with a detailed description of the issue at hand. If possible, please provide photos. This will ensure we and our tradesman are able to act swiftly and diagnose the situation correctly.

Only urgent maintenance items will be attended to after business hours. For a comprehensive list on what is deemed an urgent repair, you can review the Consumer Affairs website.

Your property manager will then be in touch with you on the next business day to follow up on the progress of your maintenance request.

Please bear in mind that, at times, parts or equipment may not be available over the weekend or on public holidays and may result in a small delay. The rental provider must action the repair within 24-48 hours of being notified, however extenuating circumstances cannot be helped in some instances and your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

Emergency Services

Emergency services such as Police, Ambulance, CFA and SES may be more appropriate in some situations. If you are in immediate danger, please call 000 immediately.
