On Thursday 5th March 2020 we held our Property Information Evening, and what a lovely evening it was!
The evening was a valuable opportunity to gather together local resources, area experts and the local community to share and communicate property concerns and matters in a relaxed, after hours environment!
We learnt about new reforms to the Residential Tenancy Act from Shaun Doyle, BDM of Property Management for Vic/Tas. One of the topics the Shaun covered included the recently implemented Pet Reform. You can find out more information on this particular reform here.
Nigel Benn from Zync Inspections highlighted not only the importance of completing a pest & building inspection for the purchase of your home, but he also touched on the value of completing a PRE LISTING pest & building inspection on your property prior to taking to market! This ensures that no nasty surprises are found once you are under contract!
Michael Naleysnik from LoanMarket covered lending options for those buying their first home and for those expanding their property portfolio. He shed light on where this industry is likely to head considering the dropping interest rates!
Melitta from TBA Law here in Romsey, highlighted the importance of enlisting a Solicitor for your sale campaign, as they really do ensure that your purchase or sale process runs as smoothly as possible!
We also heard from Ray White Romsey Property Manager Maggie Goodge, as well as in house Auctioneer and Sales Consultant Joshua Reeves about where they think the region will head, as we see even more people looking to make the Macedon Ranges their home!
It was a fantastic and valuable evening for all involved!
